Why Use This Feature?

Each messaging type in LegitFit serves a unique purpose. Whether you're trying to drive engagement, follow up personally, send mass updates, or automate retention — using the right channel makes your message more effective, visible, and professional.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Messages tab from your LegitFit dashboard.

  2. Review the four messaging types:

    • Community Message – In-app group posts, optional push notifications, with public commenting.

    • Instant Message – One-to-one private in-app conversation between you and the client.

    • Broadcast Message – One-way message via SMS or email to multiple clients at once.

    • Automated Email – Trigger-based email sequences based on client behaviour or milestones.

  3. Ask yourself:

    • Do I want this to feel personal or public?

    • Do I need a reply, or is this one-way info?

    • Should this be time-triggered or manually sent?

  4. Choose the messaging type that fits your needs, and click into it to compose your message.


What Happens Next

Your message will be delivered through the appropriate channel: app inbox, email, or SMS. Clients will engage based on the message type — some allow replies (like instant messages or community comments), while others are one-way only.
