Community Announcements are just one way to communicate with clients in LegitFit. They work best when used alongside other tools. Knowing the difference between announcements, instant messages, broadcasts, and automations helps you choose the right format for the right message.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Use Community Announcements to send updates to all clients via the app — ideal for events, updates, and community-building posts.

  2. Use Instant Messages (under Direct > Messages) for one-to-one chats — perfect for check-ins or client-specific follow-ups.

  3. Use Broadcasts to send SMS or email messages to larger groups — great for urgent reminders, promotions, or schedule changes.

  4. Use Automated Emails for time-based sequences — best for onboarding flows, milestone celebrations, or win-back campaigns.

  5. Decide based on how personal, urgent, or visible the message needs to be, and whether or not you want clients to reply.


What Happens Next

Each message type reaches clients in a different way:

  • Community Announcements appear in the app’s Community tab.

  • Broadcasts are delivered via email or SMS.
