What triggers and filters can I use for automated messages?

Choose when messages send — and who they’re sent to — using LegitFit’s smart automation tools.

Why Use This Feature?

Triggers and filters let you target the right people at the right time. Whether you're welcoming new clients, nudging lapsed ones, or celebrating milestones, automated messages only send when the conditions you set are met.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Messages > Automated and create or edit a message.

  2. In the Trigger section, choose when the message should be sent. Triggers include:

    • When a client is added

    • 1, 7, or 14 days after being added

    • Client hasn’t booked or checked in for 7 or 14 days

    • Client’s 1st, 100th, 250th, 500th, or 1000th booking

    • Client’s birthday

  3. In the Filter section, refine who should receive it. Filters include:

    • Has active membership

    • No active membership

    • Has active package

    • No active package

    • Has attended a session

    • Has never attended a session

Note: Some triggers or filters may appear locked — these require a Premium or Ultimate plan.


What Happens Next

Once you save the message, it will automatically send whenever a client matches both the trigger and the filters. You can track which clients received it from inside the automation itself.
