What is a waiver, and how does it work in LegitFit?

Why Use This Feature?
A waiver is a legally binding agreement that confirms your client has read and understood your Terms & Conditions before booking. With LegitFit, you can collect this seamlessly online before your clients make their first purchase or booking.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to LegitFit on desktop.
- Go to Settings > System Settings.
- Scroll down to the Waiver section.
- Toggle the waiver ON to activate it.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Important to Note: There’s a small charge per signed waiver (€0.05 per unique signature), billed to your account — not to your clients. This is a processing and handling fee billed monthly. At present, waivers are not downloadable.
What Happens Next
- Both new and existing clients will be prompted to sign the waiver on their next purchase or booking once the waiver option is enabled.
- You’ll be notified when a waiver is signed.
- A record of the signed waiver is stored securely in the client’s Profile.
- Waivers are a once-off requirement — clients don’t need to sign again unless you reset it.
