What is a session, and how is it different from an appointment?
Sessions are for group classes. Appointments are for 1-to-1 availability.
Why Use This Feature?
Understanding the difference between sessions and appointments helps you structure your business correctly — whether you’re running group fitness classes, 1-to-1 PT, or a mix of both.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
A session is a scheduled class or event that appears in your Timetable.
-
Ideal for group offerings (e.g. yoga, spin, bootcamp).
-
Can be one-off or recurring.
-
You can set the capacity, assign instructors, and control visibility.
-
-
An appointment is a 1-to-1 booking.
-
Ideal for services like personal training, assessments, or consultations.
-
Clients choose from your available time slots (rather than a fixed timetable slot).
-
You can set appointment length, buffer time, and daily availability.

What Happens Next
To add a session, either click and drag into the timetable to create a slot, or use the + Session button.
To add appointment availability, click the + icon at the top of the day you want to add it to, then select Add Appointment.
Success Tip
If you run both group and 1-to-1 offerings, you can manage them in parallel — just set up your timetable for classes and your availability for appointments.
