What are Community Announcements and where do clients see them?

Why Use This Feature?

Community Announcements are one of the easiest ways to engage with your entire client base. Whether it’s a reminder, a celebration, or a call to action — your message appears right inside their app and helps build connection and visibility without needing to send an email or SMS.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Messages in your LegitFit dashboard.

  2. Select the Community tab.

  3. Click Create Announcement.

  4. Write your message (up to 500 characters).

  5. Choose whether to allow comments or not.

  6. Click Send — the announcement is now live.

What Happens Next

Your message will appear in the Community tab inside each client’s LegitFit app. If the client has push notifications turned on, they’ll also receive a notification to their phone. If they don’t have push notifications enabled, they’ll still see a red badge indicating a new message next time they open the app.

You don’t need to segment your audience — every active client will see your announcement. This is perfect for general updates, event news, and community-building posts that don’t require replies.
