Is there a character limit or file upload option in Community Announcements?

Keep it short and simple — announcements are designed for quick updates only.

Why Use This Feature?

Community Announcements are best for brief messages that keep your clients informed and engaged. They aren’t meant for long-form updates or file sharing. Keeping them concise makes them easier for clients to notice and read.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Messages > Community and click Create Announcement.

  2. You’ll see a message box with a 500-character limit.

  3. This limit includes letters, punctuation, spaces, and emojis.

  4. You cannot attach files, images, or PDFs — announcements are text-only.

  5. If you need to send a document, use a Broadcast email instead.


What Happens Next

If your message exceeds 500 characters, the system will prevent you from sending it until you shorten it. Once sent, the announcement will appear in your clients’ LegitFit app under the Community tab.
