How do I edit the billing & end dates for memberships and packages?

You can edit the next billing date of a client’s membership and the end date of a client’s package.

Why Use This Feature?

Sometimes you need to adjust billing or access dates after purchase — for example, during pre-sales or when aligning client packages with your business schedule. LegitFit allows you to edit these dates without cancelling the service.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the client’s Profile and navigate to Services.

  2. Select the membership or package you want to edit.

  3. Under Status, click either:

    • Edit Billing Date (for memberships), or

    • Edit End Date (for packages).

  4. Use the calendar icon to adjust the dates.

    • For memberships with recurring billing, the next billing date will follow the new cycle.

  5. If needed, use the Freeze or Cancel options to pause billing or end access.


What Happens Next

The client’s billing and access will update to reflect the new dates. For packages, the system automatically restricts booking once the package expires.


Success Tip

If you’re selling memberships in a pre-sale before your business opens, adjust billing dates to align with your launch.

  • Example: A membership purchased on 15 August (monthly billing) would normally bill again on 15 September. If your facility opens on 1 September, adjust the second billing date to 1 October so clients don’t pay for time before opening.
