Do clients get notified when I send a Community Announcement?
Clients receive a push notification — if they’ve enabled them.
Why Use This Feature?
Push notifications help make sure your announcements don’t get lost in the noise. With just one tap, your update shows up on your clients’ phones, making it more likely to be seen than an email or social post.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Create a Community Announcement as normal through Messages > Community.
-
When you click Send, the announcement is pushed live to every client connected to your business.
-
If a client has push notifications turned on, they’ll receive a notification on their phone immediately.
-
If a client has push notifications turned off, they won’t receive an alert, but they’ll still see the message inside the app next time they log in.
-
A red badge will appear beside the Community tab in the app to indicate something new.
What Happens Next
Clients who have enabled notifications will be alerted immediately. Those who haven’t will still see the update the next time they open their LegitFit app, but won’t be actively prompted. Community Announcements remain visible to all clients, even without push alerts.
Success Tip
Encourage clients to enable push notifications during onboarding so they don’t miss your updates. You can also remind them via email or a Broadcast message.
