Can I update the bank account I use for payouts?

Change your bank details if you need to update where payouts are sent.

Why Use This Feature?

Keeping your payout details up to date ensures that client payments are sent to the right bank account. While you can’t edit these details yourself, LegitFit Support can update them quickly to avoid payout issues.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Contact LegitFit Support to request a bank account update.

  2. Wait for confirmation that the change has been applied.

  3. Once confirmed, all future payouts will be sent to the new account.

  4. Please note:

    • Payments already processed before the change will still go to your old account.

    • Only payouts taken after the update will be redirected.


Payout Schedule

  • Stripe collects payments on your behalf and releases payouts on a weekly schedule (every Monday).

  • If a payout date falls on a bank holiday, funds arrive on the next working day.

  • The payout day is fixed and cannot be changed within LegitFit.


What Happens Next

After Support updates your payout details:

  • All new transactions (taken after the update) will be sent to your new bank account.

  • Previous payouts remain tied to the account they were originally processed through.
