Can I Edit an Active Membership or Package?

Understand what can be changed and what can’t.

Why Use This Feature?

Sometimes you need to update your offerings due to pricing changes or product tweaks. Knowing what changes are possible on active services helps you manage your products effectively.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Products > Memberships or Packages.

  2. Select the membership or package you want to update and click Edit.

    • For a Membership, you can update:

      • Name, category, and description.

      • Visibility option.

      • Toggles for Open Access, Joining Fee, and Priority Booking.

    • For a Package, you can update:

      • Name, category, and description.

      • Visibility option.

      • Toggles for Restrict Purchases to Membership Holders, Single Purchase, Auto-Renewal, Open Access, Priority Booking, and Activate on First Booking.

      • Number of sessions and duration, provided there are no active payments. (This does not apply to memberships.)

  3. Fields such as Price, Number of Sessions, and Billing Cycle cannot be changed once the service has been created.

  4. Save your changes on an existing package by clicking Edit.

  5. For client-specific adjustments (e.g., adding sessions), use the Client Profile to edit individual membership details.


What Happens Next

  • Updates to editable fields will take effect once saved.

  • To change the price of a service, you will need to recreate it as a new membership or package.


Success Tip

If you need to increase prices for all members, create a new membership and switch clients over without interrupting billing. You can use the Switch Membership feature from a client’s services.
