Can I change my public username and what happens if it’s already in use?
Update your timetable link to match your brand — just make sure it’s available.
Why Use This Feature?
Your public username determines the URL for your shared timetable (e.g. legitfit.com/p/timetable/yourname
). If you’ve rebranded or want something more professional, you can update your username anytime. Just know that old links will no longer work once the name changes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to LegitFit on your desktop browser.
- Go to Settings > System Setting
- Go to the Public Unique Username section.
- Enter your new desired username (e.g.
flowfitness
instead ofjohnsmith123
). - Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
- If the name is already taken, you’ll get an error — try a different variation.
After saving, update any shared links or website embeds using the new URL.
What Happens Next
Your public timetable will now be accessible at your new URL. Any clients trying to use the old link will see an error or broken page. So be sure to update it wherever it’s been shared.
Success Tip
Choose something short, memorable, and consistent with your social media handles or brand name. If you change your username, immediately update your website embed and any links in your emails, bios, or link-in-bio tools.
