How do I use the Shop feature to create and charge an order?

Use the Shop as a POS tool to track sales and keep reporting accurate.

Why Use This Feature?

The Shop feature works like a point-of-sale system inside LegitFit. It lets you create items (like drinks, merch, or equipment) and charge your members for those items — keeping all revenue centralised in your reports.

Note: The Shop is not visible to clients in their app. It’s an admin-only tool, currently in beta, used for tracking and financial accuracy rather than online sales.


How to Create an Item in the Shop

  1. Go to Products > Shop in your LegitFit admin dashboard.

  2. Click New Item.

  3. Fill in the item details:

    • Name: e.g. Protein Shake

    • Description: e.g. Vanilla whey shake — 30g protein

    • Category: e.g. Food & Nutrition

    • Price Charged: e.g. €2.00

  4. Click Create to save the item.

Your new item will now appear in your Shop list and is ready to be sold.


How to Charge a Client for a Shop Item 

  1. Go to Products > Shop and click on the item you want to charge for.

  2. Click Create Order in the top right.

  3. Search for and select the client you want to charge.

  4. Under Payment Methods, click + Add New if you need to add their card.

  5. Once the payment method is selected, click Create Order.

This will immediately charge the client and record the sale in your LegitFit reports.


What Happens Next

The charge is processed instantly, and the order appears under your financial reports.
Clients won’t see a “Shop” section in their app, but they will see the transaction in their payment history.
