Can I personalise or target who receives a broadcast message?

You can’t personalise the message itself — but you can control who it’s sent to.

Why Use This Feature?

Broadcast messages are great for reaching many clients at once — but they’re even more powerful when used with filters. While you can’t include personal names or custom text per person, you can choose who receives the message based on activity or signup date.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Messages > Direct > Broadcast in your LegitFit dashboard.

  2. Choose your channel — SMS or email.

  3. Use the targeting filters to select your audience:

    • All Clients

    • Clients added in the last 7 days

    • Clients who haven’t booked in the last 14 days

  4. Write your message — note that it’s the same for everyone, and you can’t add first names or dynamic fields.

  5. Click Send — the message will go out to everyone in the selected group.


What Happens Next

Your broadcast is delivered to the chosen clients via their selected method. Clients won’t know it’s a group message unless your content makes it obvious — but they won’t be able to reply.
